This one and a half week technical training program is tailored for Field Service Engineers and biomedical professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in PET/CT systems.
Combining classroom theory with extensive hands on practice on Siemens Biograph Horizon equipment, the course provides a thorough understanding of PET/CT principles, Biograph line model differences, and detailed system breakdowns.
Participants will gain practical skills in local service navigation, system control, safety loops, data transmission, and crystal theory, as well as in-depth knowledge of gantry structures, detector blocks, patient handling systems, and power distribution components. The program emphasizes periodic maintenance, installation procedures, DEA replacement, and full system quality control, including daily, weekly, and quarterly PET/CT calibration routines.
In addition, attendees will learn software installation and configuration for ICS, IRS, and ACS,PRS systems, along with essential tips for backup, restore, DICOM connectivity, and licensing.
Supported by handouts, slide presentations, and electronic documentation, this training equips participants with the confidence and technical proficiency to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation tasks on Siemens Biograph Horizon PET/CT scanners.
